Workshops

Our music workshops take place at festivals and in community and care settings. In recent years MusicLinks has broadened the variety of artists involved, building on lessons learned from the lockdowns, we now often invite world-class artists to join the jam sessions via Zoom.

Empowering Rhythm Sessions: Interactive and Supportive Workshop Experience with Keith Redfern

Join Keith Redfern as he takes you through the engaging and inclusive structure of our workshops held at George Hastwell School.

In these workshops, we create a supportive environment for groups of participants with varying levels of speech and mobility. Our sessions kick off with an ice-breaking rhythm session, using an array of percussion instruments to set the musical tone. Building upon this, we choose familiar songs to play along with, encouraging contributions from the group and creating a musical connection.
